WASHINGTON —The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents (PIA National) has named Jencap Group as the recipient of its 2021 Managing General Agency (MGA) of the Year Award. The presentation was made on September 23, 2021 during the annual fall meeting of the PIA National Board of Directors held in Detroit, Michigan and in hybrid format.

“Jencap has demonstrated high ethical standards, fast response and has done an amazing job educating agents in coverages needed for clients,” said Gerald Hemphill, President-elect of PIA National, in presenting the award.

“Jencap is one of the largest wholesale intermediaries in the United States, and we are
growing by the day,” said Joel Troisi, Senior Vice President of Jencap. “We have industry-leading expertise in wholesale brokerage, binding authority and program management.”

“Our specialized divisions and affiliate companies provide PIA members with niche expertise, broad market access and nationwide influence,” Troisi said. “A huge thank you to the PIA for their ongoing partnership and for this incredible honor.”

The PIA National MGA of the Year Award recognizes outstanding achievement in furthering the interests of agents, a commitment to the agency system, and successful efforts to create a better business environment for professional independent insurance agents.
