PIA of Florida Call for Board of Directors
Call for Board of Directors Now Open!
PIA of Florida is now accepting candidates for the PIA of Florida board of directors for a term beginning January 1, 2026. This is a great opportunity to help continue to advance our growing organization.
If you are interested in serving on the Board or would like to suggest someone to serve on the Board, please submit your application or suggestions to piafl@piafl.org. The submission period is open from October 15 – November 7, 2025.
Time commitments*:
- One hour per month
- Four board meetings a year (virtual or in-person in Florida)
- Ad-hoc board workshops (possibly 1 per year)
- Two PIA National governance meetings (optional but highly recommended)
Cost commitments:
- Service on PIA's Board of Directors is without remuneration, except for reimbursement of expenses incurred through the execution of PIA of Florida initiative.

*Year designations below represent the normal succession from one officer position to the next. Exceptions are made if unforeseen circumstances warrant a different succession schedule, i.e., a resignation.
