OWN YOUR ZONE: ASCENDING LEADERS’ SUMMIT

The inaugural Own Your Zone: Ascending Leaders’ Summit, presented by the PIA National Ascending Leaders Council, is a new leadership experience created for independent insurance professionals under the age of 45.

Taking place at The Westin Alexandria Old Town in Alexandria, VA, the Summit will bring together emerging leaders from across the country to exchange ideas, build meaningful professional relationships, and connect with peers who share a commitment to the future of the independent agency channel.

This is not a traditional conference session. It is an opportunity to be part of the inaugural class of a new leadership experience designed to foster connection, professional growth, and long-term engagement within PIA.

Featured Speaker: Jeska Brodbeck

 

The Summit will feature programming led by Jeska Brodbeck, an expert speaker in flow state and performance coaching.

 

Jeska is a trusted advisor to executives and leadership teams working in complex, high-stakes environments. Her work focuses on designing human systems that support sustainable performance under real-world pressure. Through immersive keynotes, executive offsites, and organization-wide engagements, she helps leaders rethink how performance works at the individual, team, and organizational level.

Her approach blends performance science, systems thinking, and applied psychology, shaped by years of experience in leadership development, large-scale transformational programs, and private advisory work with CEOs. Before launching her advisory practice, Jeska worked across international business, advertising, and healthcare technology, where she developed a consistent strength for translating complexity into clarity.

At the Own Your Zone: Ascending Leaders’ Summit, Jeska will help participants explore how leaders can better understand stress, motivation, performance, and the conditions that allow people and teams to do their best work.

Mainstream work culture often tells us that if we simply work harder and faster, we can get it all done. The reality is that the work never ends — and chronic stress can undermine the creativity, problem-solving, and productivity leaders need most.

In this session, Jeska Brodbeck will explore the concept of flow at work and how transforming our relationship with stress can help unlock greater clarity, creativity, and sustainable performance.

 

 

The Momentum Advantage Workshop

Leaders often sense that execution takes more effort than it should, even with capable and well-intentioned teams.

In this workshop, participants will explore how the structure of work can shape energy, motivation, and performance. Jeska will guide attendees through ideas for designing conditions that activate intrinsic motivation so high performance can emerge more naturally across teams and organizations.

About the PIA National Ascending Leaders Council

The PIA National Ascending Leaders Council was created to bring together rising independent insurance professionals who are passionate about strengthening the future of the independent agency channel.

Launched in 2025, the Council serves as a national advisory group focused on identifying the challenges facing newer professionals and developing ideas, resources, and solutions to help them grow and succeed.

Through initiatives like the Own Your Zone: Ascending Leaders’ Summit, the Council is helping create opportunities for emerging leaders to connect, share ideas, and become more engaged in the future of PIA and the independent agency system.
